According to sources, an Area 51 website owner from Nevada alleges that the FBI and Air Force recently searched his residence.

According to CBS News, Joerg Arnu, who runs the website "Dreamland Resort," which concentrates on the state's old Area 51 top-secret military facility, claimed that federal and military officials searched his properties in an effort to silence him.

Along with owning a residence in Rachel, close to Area 51, Arnu also has a residence there. He said that both homes were searched.

In a long statement to the media posted on his website, Arnu stated, "Last week Thursday (11/3/22) early morning a joint unit of FBI and AF OSI raided my houses in Rachel (just outside of Area 51) and in Las Vegas.

Nothing forewarned this from happening. The doors were forced open, and I, Rachel, my girlfriend were arrested and treated with the worst contempt in our Las Vegas home.

I was handcuffed and only wearing a t-shirt and sweats as I was led outside into the freezing cold while my girlfriend was led out into the street barefoot and only wearing her underwear in full view of our neighbors.

In addition to the damaged front doors, 15-20 agents searching each property in riot gear caused more damage. I repeatedly asked for an explanation but was only given the excuse that the search was because of some pictures on my Area 51 website.

He alleges that $5,000 in property damage and $20,000 in equipment were taken by the police.

In his statement, Arnu said, "I believe the search, done with absolutely needless force by overzealous government officers, was intended as a message to suppress the Area 51 research community. What remains to be seen is how far they will go.

On his website, Arnu stated, "I have withdrawn certain data from my Dreamland Resort website in an effort to defuse the issue, even though I think that it was properly collected and authorized to distribute.

Nothing that I post on my website can be found on dozens of other websites and in publications from news organizations. I don't intend to remove any more content unless a federal judge orders me to given how this went down.

The FBI field office in Nevada and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations was contacted by Inside Edition Digital for comment on this story, but neither organization responded.

On his website, Arnu said that he would file a lawsuit to recover damages and try to get his equipment back.

No charges have been brought against Arnu.

According to 8 News Now, when UFO enthusiasts threatened to invade Area 51 in 2019, Arnu spearheaded a local effort to prevent it and even justified the Air Force's need for some confidentiality.

I am not a spy," Arnu wrote in an email to the Associated Press. I, along with the great majority of my website's visitors, support the military and recognize the necessity for secrecy to protect our nation.

According to Fox News, Arnu founded Dreamland Resort in 1999. The website offers videos from Area 51 and the surrounding area, satellite images of the base, discussion forums, and articles on various alleged top-secret UFO projects.

Arnu was contacted by Inside Edition Digital for comment on this article, but no response was received.
